The BOMBASTIC products are made from discarded plastic bags… and there are millions of the things… in the waterways, the fields, the streets, they are literally everywhere, clogging up our world… And Bombastic likes to go out and collect them to make fabulous products!

Here is a snippet of the story…

Before Bombastic gets going there is an army of guys and gals rummaging in places most of us would never go… and their job is collecting and sorting the plastic!

After the plastic bags have been collected, sorted, cleaned (I mean really cleaned!), inspected and sorted again, it is only then that they make it to the cutting room. There they are cut and bundled ready for further processing. Essentially we take the plastic from the wash and grade to colour and thickness and then fuse it with a heat press.

The designs – every dot you see on the plastic sheet in the background is cut out individually both by hand and by computer, each from a separately processed piece of plastic which we cut from different coloured shopping bags to achieve an almost infinite spectrum.

Bombastic products are all individual, no two products are the same, it’s just isn’t possible. So when choosing your Bombastic to take home, know that yours is the only one of its kind and that you have helped clean up a beautiful part of the world.
